Flavours: – Lemony, peachy fruit, lime, green apple and good minerality. Retains good acidity.
Misc interest: – Can age. DNA has shownit is very close to Galicia/ Douro variety Trajadura.
Viticulture: – Late Budding, late ripening, Vigorous. Can be susceptible to bunch rot. Very compact bunches and good with water stress.
Vinification: – Benefits from long cool ferments
Snippet: – High in acidity even though grown in baking climate. Arinto Roxo is a colour mutation(Roxo means purple in Portuguese)
